What a day!

As I am herding the kids out the door for church this morning I realize there is cereal dumped out all over the couch, Robert tells me he has a poopy diaper, and William rans smack into the partly open garage door (I think he must have been running with his eyes closed or something!). Then to top it off as we are about to pull out of the driveway I shut the garage door and somehow it hits the bucket of briquettes and rock salt and sends it flying all over the driveway. AHHHHH! I wanted to scream! Wait, I think maybe I did scream!

Then of course we get to Sacrament meeting only to have 3 kids fighting for my lap and Robert and William both crying. ARGHHHH! Sometimes I really just wish I could hide under the pew. And is it wrong to get up to bear your testimony only to get a break from your kids?

Here is a cuter moment of the day. William has turned into quite the tatoo artist.

  1. Never would've guessed that was your morning. I always see you come in and think, "see look at Kiley, all the kids just come in and sit down all reverent". Love the tattoos!

  2. I am laughing because I've totally been there - more times then I would like to admit.

  3. I can so relate to the hysteria that can take place right before it's time to go to church. Or the crazy kids that can't sit still and make noise and just can't seem to be quiet no matter how many snacks or crayons and paper you put in front of them. Is it horrible that I leave church sometimes saying " Whew!Im glad that is over with"?
